SAI KUNG DISTRICT,
Sai Kung Public Ferry Pier
Also known as the "Back Garden of Hong Kong" for it's green and scenic environment. An expatriate community resides here as well as some boat clubs. Sai Kung is more famous as a place to dine fine seafood. In customary fashion, the seafood is still alive and fresh but will cost you.
To locals, Sai Kung is similar to an interchanging hub for taking sampans (small boats) out to some of the many islands dotted around the territory. Hong Kong territory includes some 256 islands in total.
