EXPLORING HONG KONG
|
"Convenience" is the word here in Hong Kong and everything you need seems no further than than a block away if you know where you're going. After all, it only takes an hour to reach the Shenzhen border in China by train. Public transportation in Hong Kong is extremely efficient and straight forward to use. Taxis, Star Ferry, Electric Trams, Double-decker buses and MTR (our version of the tube). One seldom needs to wait more than 10 minutes for the next train on the MTR and thanks to their own under-water cross-harbour tunnels, you can reach destinations on both Hong Kong Island and Kowloon Peninsula alike. It is possible to explore local districts quite easily on your own and here are some suggestions you may consider:
